Kitchen and Tv Unit in South Maclean

Earlier this year I installed a large kitchen in South Maclean, and then was asked just recently if I could add in a tv unit to match with the look of the kitchen.

As usual, very happy to oblige my clients.

So, we went with Flexpanel Cappucino Sheen to all the doors, a couple of glass doors in the centre of the TV unit so that the appliances can be seen and Barchie Nanango handles. Because we used Quantum Quartz Coco for the stone tops in the kitchen, and the clients wanted to use a laminate for the TV unit, I offered some colour suggestions for this and we came up with Formica Angora Velour which looks fairly similar.

With the addition of led strip lighting to the underside of the overheads, the kitchen came up looking very smart.

Two Tone kitchen in Flagstone

Back in March I was asked to supply and install a kitchen in Flagstone. After designing the layout with the clients and being asked for some colour input, we came up with this kitchen in the photos.

With the combination of Flexpanel Designer white sheen as the main colour chosen and random features of Flexpanel Abyss Sheen, the colours worked quite well together. Both of these colours complimented the chosen benchtops of Laminex Pure Mineral stone diamond gloss. We went with Barchies Stainless steel Moreton handles to work with the width of all the drawers.

The clients went with a red glass splashback to add that extra touch to grab your attention when you see the kitchen for the first time.

To allow the drawers to work at such wide widths, I made use of the new metabox stabilisation rails to stop them from getting the wobbles. I also used the metabox softclose to keep the cost down, which also was a new accomplishment since Blum themselves did not know if they would work in conjunction with the stabilisation rails.

Anyway, I’m sure you will all like the photos.

Architectural Designed House fitout

This is a house I just recently completed in September. The fitout consisted of the kitchen, office, bookcase,  laundry, powder room, linen cabinet, 4 bedroom built in robes, walk in robe, window seat to main bedroom, hallway cabinetry and guest bedroom.

I wasn’t able to get photos of it all, but did get some, so thought its best to put them up.

The products used were Laminex white, Laminex Fossil, Spotted gum veneer, Caesar stone tops and black marble feature panels.

Everything had blumotion to the doors and stainless steel tandembox drawers throught the whole house.

2pac Kitchen and Vanity at Norman Park

I recently finished a kitchen and vanity at Norman Park. The builder on this one was Bev Jenner Constructions and the architect that designed the house was Tekton Consulting.

With the project there was a kitchen, scullery, vanity, living room shelving and study shelving.

Products used was Caesar stone Free spirit in a 50mm edge detail, 2pac clear satin finish hoop pine plywood with exposed edges, 2pac satin white watsonia to fronts, formica Mocha Velour to the kicks, laminex 25mm parchment with matching pvc edges to the scullery shelving, glass splash backs and lastly Barchie 288mm Byron steel handles.

This one was a real pleasure to see completed and I was happy to be able to get some photos of the completed project to show off.

Some of the photos may look similar, but I’ve taken shots from different angles to try and show more of them.

Magazine Worthy Kitchen

On a previous post I mentioned finding out that one of the kitchens I designed and installed was in the Autumn issue of Queensland homes magazine.

I was able to get in touch with the photographerJohn Downs and asked if he would send me some hi res shots of what he took. John obliged and sent them over.

The kitchen was one I installed a couple of years back at 17 mile rocks. The original post is located here to see all of my own photos after I’d completed it.

But as I’m sure you are aware, John Downs has done an absolutely fantastic job of making these shots look incredible.

Courier Mail Home Show Display Kitchen

Well the Home show is now over again until Spring time.

I thought it would be best if I put up a couple of photos of the display kitchen to show what it looked like for all those that didn’t get to come out and see me there.

The main display is the same as previous years. This year I have added in the overheads with the pegasus overhead pull down system, all the lighting and all the outside cabinets.

Autumn Queensland Homes Magazine

I have found out that the latest issue of Queensland Homes (Autumn) has one of my kitchens displayed in it where they have put a write up about the house and features in.

I’ve spoken with the photographer and he is supplying me with some hi res photos that he took, which I will be placing on the site once I have them.

The kitchen was one I did in 17 Mile Rocks

Vinyl Kitchen at Bardon

I was able to grab some photos of a Kitchen I completed around October 2010 over in Bardon.

This was designed as a galley style kitchen with a open plan feel and plenty of light from windows. All of the doors and drawer fronts were made from designer white satin vinyl in a 2mm radius edge, Karaboard designer white satin with 2mm pvc edges to all panels, white tandembox drawers were fitted for the softclose and blumotion to all doors. Also used Blum Aventos on the fridge cabinet to give a lift application above the fridge.

The 20mm stone top is Caesar stone Mosaica Carbone 7150 of which I’ve included a sample below for.

Fine Edge Kitchen in West End

Early this year I installed a kitchen and vanity for Bev Jenner Constructions at West End. The materials we used on this one was Laminex White Fine Edge and Laminex Chamois Fine Edge doors and 1mm pvc edge panels, 40mm Caesar Stone Nougat benchtops, brushed aluminium kickboards, Dulux Lime Parfait Glass Splash Backs and Moreton Stainless Steel handles.

Take a look at the photos for a better idea on how it was all used. Sorry about the graininess of the photos, for some reason I couldn’t get any decent shots of these.
