Well the homeshow is now over and complete for 6 months or so now.

Thank you to everyone that popped in to request a quote and ask advice. I now how an incredible amount of people to contact and get their quotes under way.

If you haven’t heard from me soon, please bare with me as there was way more than I expected.

This weekend I am attending the Courier Mail and Sunday Mail Home Show at the RNA show grounds.

I am displaying a gloss vinyl kitchen with caesar stone benchtops, glass splash backs and tandembox drawers to all.

If you were thinking of popping into the show, I am at stand # 1001 in the lower level of the yellow building.

Yesterday I had to pop out and add a servery/dining bench to a kitchen/dining room for a kitchen I had done earlier this year. I figured whilst I was there I should grab some pics since it was pretty much complete enough to get some.

The kitchen was finished in square edge designer white 100% gloss 2pac to all doors and panels, laminex ebony marble diamond gloss 10×10 postformed benchtops, silver glass splash backs and satin chrome slim bow handles.

Every now and then I get asked to do water fall ends on a kitchen benchtop in laminate. Generally this is done in stone or corian as it can be done seemlessly with these products. But with laminate, unless your doing square edge tops, its not really seemless.

So I thought I would pop up some photos of how this looks using a 10mm edge detail postformed benchtop.

In October 09 I was asked to start on a kitchen at Bridgeman downs. After meeting with the clients earlier in the year and discussing their needs and ideas, we came up with a design to suit the room that required quite a few changes. Some of these changes meant removing walls completely and having new support beams put into the ceiling to be structural for the story above.

The kitchen was designed with a no handle look, all blum softclose drawers, tip on to the doors, aluminium frosted glass frame doors as shown in the photos, latte and chocolate 2pac colours, brushed aluminium kickboards and Quantum Quartz pearly shores stone tops.

Since everytime when I do a quote the general choice for handles is the select range, I thought I would add some images on what is included in this select range.

The Atherton range of handles consists of 2 handles, 96mm Satin Nickel and 96mm Satin Chrome.

The Byron handle is a 96mm Brushed Nickel.

And the Rockhampton range consists of 96mm Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Black Nickel, Polished Brass and Satin Chrome, and also 128mm Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Black Nickel, Polished Brass and Satin Chrome.

I am doing a stand for our kids School fete to help them out and also get some more exposure in our local area on the 10th October, so thought I should get started putting stuff together for it.

Yesterday I received 20 photo prints that I had ordered through a store in Melbourne. I had ordered them all at A3 size so they are all quite large. When they arrived I was amazed at how well they turned out. So today I went down and got them all laminated. They should look really good on a display wall for potential customers to see.

Anyways, just thought I would mention this company since they did a great job of sorting the prints out for me. Photo Enlargements, A3 prints at $2 per print when ordering 20 or more, plus I ordered them last Thursday night, they were sent express post Friday and I had them on Monday. That’s great turn around.

Today I finally got photos from a friend of mine that I supplied his ensuite vanity and ward robe inserts to late last year. We had to ship these cabinets built all the way to Joondalup in WA, but it was still cheaper for him to go down this route than it was to employ a cabinet maker over there.

The finishes on this vanity are laminated postformed benchtop with karaboard wenge 1mm pvc edge doors and panels and post and rail handles.

Hopefully one day I will also be able to get photos of the wardrobe.

Today I was able to get back to the Doctors surgery that I had to redo after the flooding damage, and grab some shots of the work.

The finishes in the surgery and reception counter was laminex stipple hemp with 2mm pcv edge doors and panels, laminex toffee mineral stone diamond gloss benchtops with matching 2mm gloss pvc edges, formica sanded aluminium kickboards and large aluminium handles.

The lighting box was made with laminex aqua lucent innovations and a 22mm aluminium border to finish the edges off.
